From 26th April 2021 – we can take out up to 5 people from 5 households if you live within the UK.

There is currently no set date for when we are allowed to take out people who live outside of the UK, but you are welcome to book for July onwards in anticipation of further easing of restrictions. A full refund will be offered should the booking be cancelled due to covid (see below).

Booking Process in the Time of Covid

The safety of our customers, guides and local community is paramount to us in these difficult times. Therefore, we have created an incredibly flexible booking policy as we want to encourage our customers to be open and honest with us about their circumstances.

Our normal 50% deposit is payable on booking, we cannot secure bookings until this has been received. The balance of the full price must be paid 4 weeks before the date your booking is due to commence.

Should you need to cancel your booking in ANY of the following circumstances, we will give you a full credit note or full refund for all payments received.

Refund or Credit Note:

If you do need to cancel for any of the reasons above at any time, we will offer a refund or credit note. The choice of which to accept is 100% up to you. However, please remember we are a small business and in order to help us continue during this crisis we would ask you to consider the credit note towards your next booking with us whenever possible. This will help our business to survive.

Current Government Information For Scotland

Scotland is currently in “Lockdown” but travel throughout Scotland is permitted. Therefore, we are able to provide mountain activities at this time to people who can travel to and from our area safely without staying over night. However, the situation is quickly progressing and recently the restriction were relaxed in the following way:

15 March 2021: Outdoor non contact sport can resume in groups of up to 15.

16 April 2021: 6 people from 6 households can meet up outdoors.

The most recent Scottish Government announcement has given the following provisional dates for future relaxations of restrictions:

26 April 2021: Unrestricted travel within Scotland, England and Wales.

26 April 2021: All of Scotland in level 4 will move to level 3.

17 May 2021: All of Scotland will move to level 2.

Therefore, it is our current understanding that we will be able to provide the following:

From 16th April 2021 we will be able to provide guiding and instructional services for people from the local community for up to 5 people from 5 household.

From 26th April 2021 we will be able to provide guiding and instructional services for people from across the whole of the UK for up to 5 people from 5 households.

Currently there is no set date of when we can offer our services to people from further afield. We are happy to take bookings now from anyone located outside the UK to commence from July 2021 in anticipation of further easing of restrictions and we have a very flexible booking approach.
