Proud members of the UK’s leading professional body for Mountain Leaders & Rock Climbing Instructors
At Climb Torridon we are members of the Mountain Training Association (MTA) – the professional membership body run by Mountain Training for everyone who holds a Mountain Training qualification (Mountain Leader, Rock Climbing Instructor, Climbing Wall Instructor, Hill & Moorland Leader, etc.).
What does MTA membership mean for you?
Ongoing professional development: All of our guides and instructors maintain their skills through regular CPD workshops, peer events and technical updates organised by Mountain Training and the MTA.
Commitment to best practice: Membership requires us to adhere to Mountain Training’s national standards for safety, environmental responsibility and instructional excellence.
Insurance & qualifications required for membership: You can climb and walk with us knowing that our leaders’ qualifications and public-liability insurance are part of the code of conduct we commit to by being members of the MTA.
Part of a bigger community: Being in the MTA connects us to thousands of like-minded professionals across the UK and Ireland, helping us stay at the forefront of technique, equipment and mountain safety.
We’re proud to display the MTA logo because it’s a visible sign that Climb Torridon operates to the highest professional standards in the industry.
